Raised on This Land. Built for the Long Run.
Osage Orange Farms isn’t a new idea—it’s a working Oklahoma ranch with roots that run nearly a century deep.
What started as farmland has grown into something more: a place where cattle are raised with intention, the land is cared for season after season, and doing things the right way still matters.
This isn’t a side project or a trend.
It’s a way of life we’re continuing—and protecting.
Not Just Cattle—Hereford Cattle.
We chose Herefords for a reason.
They’re known for their calm temperament, hardiness, and ability to thrive on grass—exactly how cattle were meant to be raised. That matters, because less stress on the animal leads to better-quality beef on your table.
We work closely with our herd every day, even bucket-training them to create a low-stress, hands-on environment you won’t find in large-scale operations.
Calm cattle. Clean pasture. Better beef.
From Our Family to Yours
At the end of the day, this is simple.
We raise beef the way we’d want to feed our own family—clean, honest, and done right from the ground up.
And we’re proud to share it with yours.
More Than a Ranch
Osage Orange Farms is about more than beef.
It’s about raising a family on the land, building something that lasts, and giving people a connection to where their food actually comes from.
Whether you’re buying beef for your freezer or stepping foot on the ranch yourself, you’re part of that story.
Rancher. Cattle Woman. Oklahoman Through and Through.
Step inside the day-to-day of the ranch with Canda—stories from the pasture, recipes, and a closer look at how your beef is raised.
I created The Osage Orange Journal to share more than just the end product. It’s where I write about life on the ranch, what we’re learning out here, and how it all connects—from the pasture to the food on your table.

From our pastures to local plates
We’re proud to play a small role in feeding our community. Through the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry’s Local Food for Schools program, we’ve supplied ground beef to area schools—most notably partnering with Clinton Public Schools during the 2025–2026 school year.
